Psychology Presentations (25%)

  • Excellent presentations will be lucid, well organized and very purposeful. They will be thorough and concise. They will be strongly grounded in the theory of at least one psychological perspective and contain convincing evidence. They will be analytical and concrete applications of the theory. There will be a very positive response in listeners.
  • Very good presentations will be clear, organized and purposeful. They will be complete. They will be grounded in at least one psychological perspective and have strong evidence to back this up. There will be some elements of analysis and contain applications of the theory. There will be a positive response in the audience.
  • Good presentations will be clear, mostly well organized and mostly well focused. They might be too short or too long. Evidence will be at times uneven, as will be the analysis and application of theory. Grounding is adequate.  There will be a middling response in the audience.
  • Poor presentations will be unclear, disorganized and off-topic. They will be incomplete. They will be poorly grounded and have faulty analysis or no analysis. Theory will be misapplied. Audience response will be negative.

  • Very good study sheets will be clear, organized and purposeful. They will be complete. They will be grounded in at least one psychological perspective and have strong evidence to back this up. There will be some elements of analysis and contain applications of the theory. There will be a positive response in the audience.
  • Good study sheets will be clear, mostly well organized and mostly well focused. They might be too short or too long. Evidence will be at times uneven, as will be the analysis and application of theory. Grounding is adequate.  There will be a middling response in the audience.
  • Poor study sheets will be unclear, disorganized and off-topic. They will be incomplete. They will be poorly grounded and have faulty analysis or no analysis. Theory will be misapplied. Audience response will be negative.
